It’s 2030. Lila Clanton, an Indigenous Australian scientist, leads an international think-tank that has been assembled for one purpose only: to come up with a master code that will outlive our civilisation and protect the planet from nuclear annihilation. 

However, the team’s progress is hampered by disconcerting disturbances. Their code is incomplete, and yet it keeps morphing - and improving - seemingly on its own. 

Lila harbours a growing suspicion as to why this could be happening, but it she’s right, she’s about to put a bomb under the entire scientific establishment.
